Meet the Judges

Abby Cook
Abby Cook is a trailblazing presenter originally from Scotland but currently based in Manchester. Through her work, Abby continues to inspire others and challenge societal perceptions of what is possible.

David Pallash
David works is Director of Learning Through Play on the LEGO Group’s Social Responsibility team, designing programs and experiences that connect more children around the world to environmental and social topics, and give them a chance to share their ideas for a better future, all via learning through play.

How do I enter the competition?
- Inspire: Explore our prep-free resources to inspire your students.
- Create: Complete a real-world design challenge: Build for Nature, Community, or Design with Empathy. Drawings, crafted constructions and LEGO builds are all welcome!
- Share: Upload a photo of the entry online or post them to us along with our postal entry form by 30th June to the following address: The Education Company, Denne Court, Hengist Field, Oad Street, Sittingbourne ME9 8LT
What format should submissions be in?
You can either upload a photo of your design and worksheet to our entry form here.

Who is eligible to participate?
This competition is open to all young people aged 7-14 years in the UK. Submissions must be made by an adult on their behalf.
What are the key dates and deadlines?
Entry deadline: June 30th, 12:00pm
Can participants compete as a team or only as individuals?
Yes, participants can compete as a team to a maximum of 4 team members. If a team entry is submitted, please ensure that the name of the team and first names of the students are included should we need to contact you regarding their entry.
Are there age restrictions?
The competition is open to all young people aged 7-14 years old.
Can I submit multiple entries?
Yes! We welcome multiple entries.
